We are happy to put at Breton speakers' disposal a translation of the New Testament into modern Breton language (spoken in Brittany, West of France). It was published in 2004. In fact we revised Mr Le Coat's translation of Breton New Testament published in 1893. He was a great God's Servant, zealously preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and translating the Word of God in his own language with accuracy and rigour. Guillaume Le Coat gave us a literal translation of the New Testament (1st edition in 1883 and 2nd edition in 1893) and finally of the whole Bible (published in 1897).
This revision is in accordance with the usual spelling rules of Unified Breton. This translation is based on the Received Text (Textus Receptus).
